LIFTEK is a SANAS Accredited Inspection Body (LIFT0011) and has approval from the Department of Labour (DOL Reference No. LEPC ISP 0011).
LIFTEK has over 30 years of Technical knowledge and vast experience in the Lift and Escalator Industry. Our knowledge base includes a wide range of equipment from the various manufacturers.
We have been through a recognised training programme from Apprenticeship, Service and Modernization, Setting up, Adjusting and Commissioning through to Sales Consulting, Preparation of Contract documents and Tender submissions and Project Management in the Lift & Escalator Industry.
LIFTEK was formed in 2008 to satisfy customer requirements for inspection of lifts, escalators, goods lifts, hoists, etc. This business has developed well and is expanding successfully. The company is engaged in the INSPECTION of LIFTS, ESCALATORS, GOODS LIFTS, HOISTS, etc. on a daily basis.
LIFTEK is a registered CLOSED CORPORATION with C.I.P.I.C. since year 2008. All Inspectors employed by LIFTEK are registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). We are also a member of the LIFT INSPECTOR’S ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICA (L.I.A.S.A.). The organization has approvals from the Government and all members sign a Code of Conduct. All work performed is in line with the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993, Lift/ Escalator/ and Passenger Conveyor Regulation R 828 and the South African National Standards.
LIFTEK is in a position to provide Audits and Inspections of the highest quality, offering consultation between the owner and the Lift service provider, thereby providing customer satisfaction and improved safety in the Industry.

LIFTEK AND SAFETY
Over the past decade, we have witnessed the rapid deterioration of Safety levels and the failure to meet Regulatory Requirements in the Industry.
LIFTEK’s first priority is to achieve the required Levels of Safety and Compliance to the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Lift Regulation and the National Standards thereby ensuring Public Safety.
Mandatory Comprehensive Inspections are carried out in a safe and professional manner with minimum disturbance and threat to the public’s safety.
